In April, eMaids, a national maid service company, saw a 45% growth in keyword rankings, with several critical service-related keywords achieving first-page positions. Key terms such as “eMaids house cleaning” and “eMaids cleaning service NYC” both ranked on the first page of search engine results, while keywords such as “book home cleaning online” also climbed in the rankings. This case study outlines the strategic SEO changes and content updates that contributed to this impressive growth.
eMaids, despite having a well-established national brand, faced challenges in maintaining visibility for key service-related keywords in various local markets. Although eMaids provided high-quality services across different states, they struggled to rank for crucial terms like “house cleaning NYC” and “online cleaning services.” Their rankings were inconsistent, with some important keywords not appearing on the first page of search results.
Our main challenge was to improve rankings for service-related terms in major cities and nationally, while also targeting new, high-volume keywords that could drive traffic to their website.
